Wroclaw, Poland

《passers-by Sculpture》 Wroclaw, Poland

At a crossroads in Warsaw, a group of silent, anonymous passers-by passed by. The sculptures commemorate Poland's imposition of martial law on Dec. 13, 1981, when President wojciech jaruzelski banned solidarity and arrested its leaders.

Since then the guild has moved underground, and the workers have gradually taken on the appearance of a split between the ground and the ground. The sculpture expresses the sympathy of the people enslaved by communism.
