《Iron shoes》 Budapest, Hungary The iron shoes is the work of director Can Togay to commemorate the holocaust. In January 1945, 250 jews were sent to a concentration camp to be brutally murdered. The jews, persecuted by Hungary's arrow cross party, were told to take off their shoes and jump into the river before they died. Finally, their bodies are buried in the river, and the shoes remain on the bank, which is evidence that they lived. Two artists use iron shoes to commemorate these unforgettable jewish refugees.
