AndyScott, an artist from Glasgow, specialises in the design of large public art installations. The Kelpies are a set of two horse heads on the Banks of the foss-clyde canal. Inspired by the Kelpies of Celtic folklore.

Scott designed the pair of giant horse heads based on the clydesdale horses. They also have the names Duke and Baron. The Kelpies are as tall as a 10-storey building and are now one of Scotland's new landmarks.
